Long time no post: Summer 2014

The year has been full of changes! Retirement is wonderful and we've been keeping busy with travels, gardening and enjoying our friends.

Right now our tiny veggie garden is bursting with vegetables ready for harvest
Here I've made Old Fashioned Bread and Butter Pickles from the mini-cukes.

 

 Also made traditional Kosher Dills.

 

 And a gorgeous Strawberry-Blackberry Pie from garden fresh fruit!

 

Fototentoonstelling van Benedenkerkse Huizen: 14 september 2013

Bij de viering van 125 jaar Benedenkerksebruggen wordt op Benedenkerkseweg 117 door de fotografe Judi Lubeek een fototentoonstelling gehouden waaronder fotoboeken van de huizen van Benedenkerk en foto's van en rond Gemeente Vlist en de Krimpenerwaard.
