Exhibit at the Central Library in The Hague

Images Photo Club will hold its club exhibition on the first floor of the central library (next to the Hague town hall). This will run for the entire month of April and can be visited by all at no cost.

This farmer is a rare site nowadays in the Netherlands. Many more people live in the city; the countryside and its traditional way of life is slowly disappearing.




In Gouda, this pristine park is a place for strolling and pensiveness.

Art Exhibit "Rhapsody in Green"

Friday, October 9 at 8:00pm is the opening of the art exhibit presented by www.groenehartkunst.nl (Green Hart of Holland Art). The theme is entitled Rhapsody in Green. You will be dazzled by this exhibit of multi-disciplinary art, amateur and profession. The show runs until November 1 and is located in Nieuwkoop, Zuid-Holland. My entry is below:



Title: Fallen Tree (Gevallen boom)

Motivation: Standing at the edge of the meadow, I'm moved by the harmony of willows and grassland. The fallen tree interrupts the calm. The winter is cold and lonely. (Ik sta aan de rand van het weiland en ben bewogen door de harmonie van de weide en wilgen. De gevallen boom stoort mijn rust. De winter is eenzaam en koud.)
